TOP 10 U.S. JOBS OF 2022

Despite an increase in coronavirus infections caused by the omicron version, the employment economy in the United States is booming. According to recent Glassdoor study, many of the best professions provide flexible work schedules and six-figure earnings.

Glassdoor issued its newest assessment on the 50 best jobs in America for 2022 on Tuesday, based on organisations having at least 100 salary reports and 2,000 job posts on its site as of December 2021. The best jobs for job searchers include those with plenty of opportunities, great work satisfaction, and high income potential, according to the report.

For the first time, psychiatrist (#22) and psychologist (#34) entered the top occupations list, as demand for mental health services continues to rise despite the continuing epidemic. However, IT jobs take up nine of the top ten slots on the list.

“Every firm nowadays is a tech company,” says Daniel Zhao, a senior economist and data scientist at Glassdoor, in an interview with CNBC Make It. “Because of how quick and sudden the changes from this crisis have been, the pandemic has really accentuated the usefulness of data — more firms are turning to real-time data to understand what’s going on and make choices.”

The top position on the list is enterprise architect, which is responsible for directing the development and coordination of an organization’s technological systems, followed by full stack engineer and data scientist.

Because they’re more suited for flexible work arrangements, such occupations have high job satisfaction levels, Zhao notes, which is a sought-after perk among employees and job searchers alike given the current epidemic.

According to Glassdoor, these are the ten greatest occupations in the United States in 2022.
